Default Stamp Collection - 05-31-2007, 11:05 AM

i am very much keen to stamp collection, i have more than 100 countries stamps in my collection. i do have sticked them in my collection book by using glue. but i dont think thats the good idea.

how do you manage those type of collections..?? any hints..?

As long as you use an acid free type of glue then you are fine. I think the best way to organize this would be the same way that you organize a photo album, especially one with removable pages, that way you can move the pages and organize them by say country.

It is very important you keep your stamps sorted by countries. You can use photo-album kind of folders where you can move a page. It will take some time but it will be worthwhile.

If you want to, you can also make a list of the stamps you have and the album that they're in. That way find the stamp will also be easy.

No that wasn't a good idea. They make stamp collection books where you can slide the stamp in a small pocket.
