Default Tax Receipts - 07-14-2007, 06:30 PM

I once worked with someone who'd been audited for his income tax deductions. After that, he had a "master book" with a page for every day where he would staple pertinent receipts to that day's page. I believe he'd also make notes of why they were being claimed for business.

That way he new exactly what town he was in when he purchased something, and it would be easier to justify the receipts.

Have you ever seen anyone doing this?

I've seen truck drivers do that with their log books. They just staple all their receipts to the date in the book.

They have to because cops can look at their logbooks and ticket them big time if they are wrong.
