I usually have at least a couple dozen emails in my inbox. I try to delete junk as soon as I get it, but I intend to go back to the messages I keep.
I'm curious about how many messages others currently have in their inboxes? | Today

I have 8 emails in my inbox right now, for me that is a very small amount. I try to keep everything tidy, but it seems I collect emails that I tend to not know what to do with for some reason or another. I have folders that are way to jam packed. | | | | Member | | Posts: 63 Join Date: May 2007

I finally went through and got rid of a bunch, and filed the rest. | | | | Member | | Posts: 34 Join Date: Jun 2007

That's an area that I probably manage better than email. I create new folders and try to keep the bookmarked sites in order and delete outdated ones. | | | | Member | | Posts: 63 Join Date: May 2007

I'm pretty good at spotting junk, I delete a massive amount of emails daily and not just spam. I cannot stand fwds, so they are also automatic deletes. | | | | Junior Member | | Posts: 26 Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: W. Canada

I currently have 3 pages of e-mail mostly work related and several pages on gmail as they don't have a file system.
I delete spam, forwards and 'sillies' twice a day andfile once I have answered. I strive to delete most of the previous month's files once closure has occurred. If a newsletter has an item I expect to work on/research I retain it under the topic. | | | | Member | | Posts: 61 Join Date: Oct 2007

I recently deleted all email of 2006 and before that year, now onwards I immediately delete the unwanted email too which enlighten the burden to clean it at a time. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
