Default Organizing Desktop - 05-28-2007, 02:43 PM

In spite of all my efforts I end up making my desktop clumsy. I have a PC and my books all there in the same Desktop. Do I need to keep my books in a separate place?

You may just want either get a book case and or a different desk that allows you to but books on them. Some people have extended desks that allow them to organize their textes on it.

I would say yes for sure that your books should have their own space on a shelf or book storage unit.

I think having an extended desk for the computer with book cupboard type will be really managable and helpful. I want to keep my room with as less furniture as possible so I feel extended desk will be just the thing I am looking for.

If you dont have a bookcase you could just put your books on the floor on a piece of newspaper or something... anything to get them away from your desk... that would drive me nuts..

or start buying ebooks.. clutter up your desktop instead of your desktop > sorry!!

Going for e-books is really a good idea. But then you will probably end up with a bagful of CD's I still think it is an extended desk which should be excellent for this purpose.

I have a small book shelve I keep my books on and I also have a basket I keep my folders in on top of a wooden tv tray wich holds my tower. Then I don't have to put everything on my desk top.
