I know it's not that time of year, but I was going thru my things and found some lights. They're all jumbled. Is there a better to organize this stuff?
We carefully put them in boxes which we store in our condo locker.
The in-laws have started covering up their Christmas tree and just leaving it up! They don't spend a lot of time in that rec room, so it's not quite as crazy as it sounds, I guess.
I was able to have the fabric store save some plastic bolt holders from bolts of lace. These are about 12 inches long and 8 inches wide. I just wroap the strings around them and store in a box that boots came in.
I use the plastic "donuts" (I don't know what they're called, just what they look like) that electricians roll extension cords up on. I bought them at Home Depot in the electrical department. You can roll three to four hundred lights on each one. It's great because it has a crank, so it doesn't take long to roll them up, especially if two people do it together.
