Default How old is the stuff in your cupboards and drawers? - 06-24-2007, 03:16 AM

My brother's mother in law has stuff from the 70's in there. And my ex boyfriends mom has things from the 60's in hers. It's funny to go over there and snoop at their stuff. They are such pac rats.

I don't have that problem in my house because I move so much but my storage unit, I don't even know what's in there.

It sounds almost like a time capsule. You should write an article for the local paper about what you find. You could send it in as a history/humor piece.

Sure, it should be fun. I could even imagine how old the stuff my mom keeps is. That's funny

I recently had to move my mother due to her downsizing. It was great going through her cupboards. We sat and talked about all the stuff she had and then she ended up sending lots home with me. Like I needed it.

Lol, thats funny because I still have cloths from highschool that I haven't gotten rid of yet. Don't ask me why, I just seem to hold onto things as if im going to miss them or something. But I have never wore them or even thought about wearing them.
