What do you do when you share an office with a slob? How do you convince someone to clean up their half?

I find that cleaning up my side of the workspace works well. It's kind of a subtle hint for your co-worker to do the same. If that doesn't work, then well, some people just function better with a messy space. I know that I'm not the cleanest person, if something is too clean it bothers me.

Maybe suggesting that the two of you clean it up together. You could explain that you get much more done when you feel organized.
