there's not much i can do with the cds anymore. they don't exactly take up a whole lot of space but i still want to clear out the drawers and have a little more space to put other things. what should i do with them??
What I have done with my old cd's in the past is make a clock out of them. It's really neat and cheap, you can go to Wal-mart and buy the hands and clock part for about $5.00. You can then paint the cd and put numbers on it. They make great gifts too. Another idea would be to make coasters out of the cd's you can glue cardboard to the back of the cd and have interesting coasters. Hope this helped.
you should threw it in dustbin after destroying it, after checking that it is fully useless, if your cd is little bit useful than make a cd bag in which u can put your all old cds which are useful. it helps u in future. try it out.
If you have plenty of old CD's laying around and have children, here is a great idea that'll entertain the kids. You can make mobiles from the CD's. Kids will love to paint them, put glitter on them, etc. Of course, you'll also need 1/4" wooden dowels and some cheap fishing line to tie them up with (the CD's, not the kids). Kids are always proud of the art they create and they'll love to show it off when it's hanging in their room.
We have used them and decorated them with beads and stuff and hung them as ornaments on trees or actually put them in frames after being decorated as a wall hanging.
Hehe I guess I'm not as creative as everyone else but eh, it works: For my old music cds, I just went and donated them to my local library. They were grateful for the music selection. For the computer ones, I believe you can get magnets that can erase them now, but I just pitched mine.
I usually try to cell old CD's that I no longer listen to but that are still in good condition. I have never come up with anything more creative than that.
