Default Tips for Organizing Your Room - 06-02-2007, 11:58 PM

Sort : Do you have any clothing that is either out of season or too small for you to wear? Or any other object that you can no longer find any use for? Do you still keep papers from years before? Sort it out! These items may be the junk that keep taking space in your rooms. Go through your files or closet and look through your items. Think about whether or not you will need it in the future. If you don't, then it has to go.

anyone have any other tips?

That's a good suggestion. I have a small problem that sometimes I fail to decide whether or not I need the particular item in future?

i have that same problem too. sometimes I throw away an item and then a couple of months later, i regret that decision because that item is useful now. so not only do i have to organize my room, but i have to make sure i really don't need that item anymore. which is hard since not all of us have a crystal ball under our beds.

I always think I need the items in question. I'm like hmm, if i lose weight than I can wear it again or I met my hubby in that outfit silly stuff like that. I think I need to prioritize my items in my closet maybe tomorrow.

Thanks for the tip >!<

I try the rule that if you don't wear an item of clothing within a certain amount of time you trash or donate it.

Well I cleaned out my closet now I have no clothes to wear at all. Most of the stuff was old and needed to be thrown away but, a few items were very nice and I can give them to goodwill. I told hubby I needed to go clothes shopping now tehee. He laughed at me and said not right now.
