Default Feng Shui - 05-31-2007, 02:23 AM

Is there anything to this? I have heard that setting a room up in a certain way helps keep you in good health. Can you organize your way to a Feng Shui?

There are colors out there that give people certain feelings. For example green is supposed to be a productive color and is good for work spaces and so forth. Blue is supposed to be calming so it would make a good bedroom color. I like the color yellow, but it's said to make you anxious. For some reason it never does, it just makes me happy.

feng shui was an ancient practice that said that if you placed certain objects or changed the way a particular room looked, you could obtain good fortune or harmony. the effectiveness of feng shui is debatable, but it is a pretty interesting topic. i don't know much about it though, maybe someone could tell us some tips.

Thanks to this thread, I came to know more about Feng Shui. But is it about organization or improvement of life in general?

Feng shui can be both organization and improving life in general because you can use feng shui principles to organize your home or office. for example, I read a book on feng shui once where they advised me to clean up any clutter that I had. this supposedly would improve my luck and at the same time, my office would be neater.

I just heard abot Feng Shui not to long ago when I was looking for ideas to redo the living room. I don't know much about it at all but it does sound interesting. Does anyone here ever used it? If so did it seem to do what it is it is suppoused to do? I am just curious because I find it interesting.

I heard about Feng shui not to long ago too. i found it very interesting so i started reading some books about it. i remember there was one tip that said to place a large mirror in your living room to create a feeling of space. also, chairs and couches should be placed facing the door.

Default Site about Feng Shui - 06-12-2007, 07:46 PM

I found an interesting article about Feng Shui on about.com

Feng Shui - How to Apply Feng Shui - Bedroom, Home, Color Feng Shui Tips

I have a game called animal crossing where if you can organize your room with Feng Shui adds whatever the color you put in the room does like yellow in the west means money stuff like that its quite a cute game.

I haven't tried any Feng Shui but, if you have does it work?

Hard to say if feng shui actually works or not. but I do try following some of its tips occasionally and I find that the room becomes a bit more attractive afterwards.

It's like believing in ghosts. You either believe in it or you don't.
