ordinarily i would agree but i do a bit of computer repair as a hobby and over the years i have accumilated over a hundred different leads, plugs, adaptors etc... the other day i was given an old computer by somebody because it didnt work and he has since bought a new one.. i opened it up only to find that one of the ide leads on the hard drive had somehow become damaged.. i had a look in my collection for a replacement and "hey presto" i now have a working computer for nothing..
The first thing i would do is sort out and throw away any duplicates, then just wind them up, put them in a bag or draw or somewhere safe..
