If you are sure they are no longer being used why not remove them all together? Otherwise I would suggest zip ties, they allow you to bundle cords together and generally make things much neater and safer as well.

ordinarily i would agree but i do a bit of computer repair as a hobby and over the years i have accumilated over a hundred different leads, plugs, adaptors etc... the other day i was given an old computer by somebody because it didnt work and he has since bought a new one.. i opened it up only to find that one of the ide leads on the hard drive had somehow become damaged.. i had a look in my collection for a replacement and "hey presto" i now have a working computer for nothing..

The first thing i would do is sort out and throw away any duplicates, then just wind them up, put them in a bag or draw or somewhere safe..

I agree with ozonew4m. My hubby works on computers and computer networks. A lot of times the computer part we have around the house are used for his work it save money and time having the parts around the house.

Otherwise if you're sure you are not going to use them you can probably list them on freecycle.com and have someone who needs them or wants them come pick them up.
I just hate throwing away things that someone else can use.
