Is there any better ways of storing these dvds? Five DVD racks in a row is taking up a lot of space and when I get to 6 or 7 I will not have any room to walk. I want to keep them in single cases so, no cd cases or anything like that.

We're planning to renovate the solarium in our condo and install floor to ceiling bookshelves which will store books, CDs and DVDs in their original cases.

I want to put them under the duct for the exhaust fan, so they'll have a built-in appearance.

I have roughly 500 dvds and 600 vhs in my tiny little apt. I find that tall and skinny dvd book cases work really well. They take up little space and I utilize their height. I got mine at staples for like $50 ea and they hold like 200 dvds

I have seen DVD cases that can hold up to 12 DVD. I think that what you need. Or just put more than 1 DVD in a single case.
