Default kids drawings - 06-14-2007, 05:56 PM

I have a mass amount of my kids things they have drawn for "mom". They would be heart broken if I threw them away. Any suggestions what to do with them? Right now I have 2 folders in my file cabinet with their names and they are bursting at the seams. How do I cut down on the amount of papers without hurting feelings.

I would get your children to help you make a scrapbook of their favorite items that they have made you. Tell them that they should pick out only their favorite things they have drawn for you and that you want to have a special book to keep them in. Then, that way your kids will not have their feelings hurt and they get a special book of memories when they get older.

Right now all my sons stuff is in a big tupperware type container. I would love to say I don't get rid of it because of hurting my sons feelings but it is the opposite actually. It is me that don't want to part with it.

We have kids pictures taped all over our kitchen and dining room. We also frame some keepers and hang them on our walls. They aren't going to be small for ever and after a certain grade they stop bringing pictures home. Once they've been up for a while we box them and make room for the new ones. Our kitchen cabnets are decorated as well.
