I was going to say have you tried the local schools but I would imagine that alot of them are on summer break.

What about a food drive box at the local grocery stores or how about asking like the girl or boy scouts to help out getting donations?

Have a food drive of some sort. Get it advertised on the radio and in the local newspaper.

If there are nuns at your church you could start the first church slash strip joint

When you say "in need of funding," what exactly do you mean?Did a family member just get laid off? Did you just spend too much on the holidays? Are you trying to ask if your church can help you? Usually a church's food closet are used for homeless or those who are in dire need.I would look at WHY you are "in need of funding" and go from there. Try looking at an unemployment check until you get a job, and until then use what you can.

I took the post to me that their church has a food closet and that they need more donations of food to restock it. Hopefully the person will come back and clairfy the post.

Maybe the Angel Food foundation--they order food in bulk and sell it for cheap, and they might be able to direct you to places that'll help with supplies or funding.
