Default formula 50 sold to coke. - 05-30-2007, 03:54 AM

50 Cent just made a quick $400 million when Coca-Cola agreed to buy Glaceau, the maker of Vitamin Water for $4.1 billion.

The rapper owns 10% of Glaceau, which makes 50 Cent’s signature drink - the Formula 50.

I haven't followed his career, but I heard some of the details of the movie that was based on his life.

He's definitely had an interesting life so far. He's lucky to be alive, considering some of his previous business deals.

You know I don't begrudge him making this kind of money for this because I would do it in a heartbeat. But I don't get all this hoopla and this kind of money being paid for water. I mean it is basically just water isn't it?

No pun intended.

What a good business move? I hope so. The new coke plus sucks. Tastes terrible.

I doubt if he was the one with the business sense, he has accountants, and business managers that make these decisions for him.

But he had to make the decision to hire the accountants and such. He could have blown it all on drugs.
