Default Have you ever not answered the door because your house was a mess? - 07-15-2007, 07:01 AM

I actually did this today. I was going through things in the front room and it was a total disaster. Someone knocked at the door and I just sat there, mortified that I would have to explain this huge mess. Now it seems funny.

I've never had that happen, although we do definitely have messes in our place from time to time.

I believe my sister-in-law SHOULD have not opened her door for that reason on occasion, though.

I'll answer the door and step out onto the porch. LOL But my house can be a disaster because of the children playing. I try to put it back together each night before bed.

Can't say that I have!

BUT, I redd up the foyer and living room every morning. (Been doing that for YEARS!) So if someone drops by, we always can at least go there.

The family room is another matter though....
