Default No Fee Banking - 06-28-2007, 07:38 PM

I'm in the process of switching over to a no fee bank account with free cheques. I can use the same banking machines as I did with my old bank.

Is this an option where you are?

Free checking accts seem to be the norm where I'm at in Cali. It always seems pretty easy to open one and get free checks as well.

Hi,
I have not come across any no fee bank. But online banks like paypal and money booker do not make any initial charges. One can open a free account with zero initial balance.Charges are made while transfering the money in to one's own bank account. You can try them.

I've been using PayPal for about a year now, with no problems.

I recently added my new no fee chequing account to my PayPal account.

I would love to find a no fee checking account. Does this mean than whenever you use the ATM you are not charged also? Those monthly fees add up.
