My family has scheduled Friday evening and Sunday after church for family time. We do different things but here's the list:

Swimming at an indoor pool
eating out
picnic
parks
play games
movies & popcorn
do crafts
decorate for upcoming holidays
bake cookies
reading marathons (we like this on Sunday afternoons)

But what really makes it work is that it is scheduled and we really work hard to protect that time. It has to be really important to take precedent over our family time.

Thanks for the list Janet, it seems well organized per scheduled, I will follow that and see how I can manage it all nicely.
