Silver is right on this. People want it for nothing. If you do have something like nothing else on there, it'll sell.
I make home made baby gifts and couldn't sell them for what the material costs at the store. Some things may not be worth selling on ebay. You may be stuck with the insertion fee in the end. But do some research on the item on ebay before you decide to sell it.
