The whole family can get in on this one. Every 6 months or so have a yard sale. Everyone grab stuff they haven't used or are tired of or have grown out of and sell it. Then have a pizza party or go shopping for a family project or game.

Moving stuff out of your house keeps the clutter down. Or you could just donate it.

Every Christmas I usually clean out the toys to make room for new ones. We usually donate them.
