I have used a a Palm for over a year now and wouldn't be without it! My whole life is in there and it is password protected so that it's inaccessible to others. Mine is a Zire and it synchs to my desktop so that I can enter info on both. I only spend about 5 - 10 minutes a day organising and entering data and I always know where I am with things - be it shopping lists, to-dos, calls to make. Regularly synching to the desktop does away with the fear of losing the Palm. I use it for everything at work too. I have a Filofax which I used for ten years or more but it is bulky and I am just about to dispense with it altogether. If you can borrow a P.D.A. of any sort just to experiment with (or get someone who has one to actually show you what they are capable of) I promise you will be amazed! The only thing is that you HAVE to get into the habit of updating it ... just as you would a paper list ... but this soon becomes a habit and the benefits of doing so are enormous! |
