Now if memory serves me right post its were really meant to write a little note on it to put on papers or file and it was to be used as a reminder to either yourself or a note to recipient to whom you would pass the file to etc. I used post its at the office, but I lost a few and then I changed to writing things down in either a notebook with a space for the date at top of page. I use 1 page per day or get a datebook and use a page per day. The monthly calendar in it, can be used to write in your appointments. I also use diff. colour highlighters to colour my organization of time management. For example pink for me time and green for work time. You could use blue for relaxing time yellow for family time. Once you mark all the squares off with the colours you will notice that there are blank spaces. This system I found quite handy. I worked parttime, therefore coloured half my squares for the month as I knew my hours I was working for the month, then the other half I coloured in according to what I was doing. Try it I'm sure you'll like this tip. Now back to post its, if you ask me I use them to mark notes (temporary only) on papers and also to mark the page I'm reading in a book. No more notes for imp. things such as peoples phone nos. etc. I put everything in my organizer/datebook. By the way, the monthly calendar organizer really looks colourful and is fun. If you're a visual person, once you remember what colour represents what you're doing, you'll love this system. |
